“Once you have decided that you want a hobby farm tractor, the next step is to choose the right one for your hobby farm. This may seem easier said than done: there are many options. The most important feature of a tractor on which to base your decision is the horsepower rating. For all the lighter work on smaller farms, such as cutting grass and carrying or lifting heavy materials, around 40hp will suffice. If you are looking for something more powerful to do really heavy work and if you have a large yard, you can opt for bigger (up to 73hp).
